Five Stars--more if we can give them!
The owner of the travel company and her team planned us the perfect visit to Barcelona for the three days and three nights we had. See below for memorable parts of the trip.
The staff and accommodations at the hotel in Barcelona were excellent and it was perfectly located within walking distance of all we wanted to see in Barcelona. The front desk woman gave us excellent restaurant recommendations and made the reservations for us.
All travel transfers went smoothly and the drivers were friendly, helpful, and excellent drivers!
I want to commend the owner for making a stressful start to our trip less stressful. At 4 am on the day we were to depart the US we got a notice from our airline that our flight was cancelled with no plan to re-book us. The company owner was monitoring our situation from Spain and was in contact with me from the start of the cancellation giving me advice on what to do and how she could help.
We were able to re-book and arrived in Barcelona not far off from the original time we were to arrive. The owner was able to tweak our tour start time to fit the travel snag and we were off to see Barcelona!
Being in contact with the travel company owner on an app during this snag was very reassuring and we so appreciated her!

What were the most enjoyable or memorable parts of your trip?

Having 4 in our travel group, I think every part of the trip got a vote.
Our sommelier and tour guide at a Barcelona winery, gave us a five star experience with a fun and informative tour of the winery and vineyards accompanied by an excellent wine tasting experience and delicious tapas. Getting a quick look and an outdoor drink at the beautiful beach town of Sitges on the way back to Barcelona added to a wonderful day.
The Gaudi experience also stands out--how could it not! Our Barcelona tour guide did a fantastic job of giving us an overview of the Gaudi architecture all over Barcelona-- not only at Parc Guell and Sagrada Familia--but also in other parts of the city.
His tour of the Old Town and Gothic Quarter also got a memorable vote from our group. He did a good job of bringing the history alive by constantly reminding us what we were seeing as we passed and repassed sites. It worked!--the facts started to stick and we were entertained and learned about the history of Barcelona.
The Flamenco show--what an interesting and entertaining experience! I will say no more. If you are up for a little bit of something out of the ordinary, you must do it- it only lasts an hour.

If you could take your trip again, what would you do differently?

There is nothing that the owner and the travel company could do better. The trip was well planned, the timing made sense, and the tours and tour guides were excellent. One thing we would have liked to do differently is to give ourselves an extra day at the start of the trip to recover from travel over from the US.
