Spain Vacation Review: Cordoba, Granada, Seville Flamenco Dance, Ronda Winery Tour

The half day private tour of Ronda with our guide where we met the owner of the winery, picked and ate tangerines right off his trees, sampled wine and tapas and had an enjoyable visit out on his patio was part of our favorite day. The tapas lunch with our guide was the best of our trip and we really enjoyed the bull fighting ring visit and the play by play from him of what the event would be like. Also really enjoyed the Flamenco dancing experience in Seville where our guide translated for us as our guide, a professional flamenco dancer and singer, saved us front row seats and shared her knowledge and answered questions about the tradition and the show. I am convinced the performance we saw was especially impressive, even to our guide, because the dancers recognized our guide as a fellow professional and wanted to do well in front of her. Cordoba was our favorite city and the resort was a definite “wow” hotel with theprivat rooftop balcony accessible from stairs inside our room. We really enjoyed the history, size and beauty of the Mezquita and even though we were a little before prime season, we were fortunate enough that many of the wall, balcony and patio pots were in bloom.
