Travel Agent Review: 3-Week Honeymoon Trip in Argentina, El Calafate, Patagonia, Glaciers, Iguazu Falls, Hiking

SO happy we used the travel company for our trip to Argentina - they were all phenomenal, and they really helped create a special, memorable trip for us. When we first started looking into traveling in Argentina, we were pretty overwhelmed because there are so many awesome things to see and do. After talking with the trip planner, we were able to more easily narrow down was worth seeing, based on both our interests and our time frame. They were able to pack in a bunch of sights and experiences into our trip - we would NOT have been able to do it on our own! Plus, the tours and excursions they found/have access to were phenomenal. I mean, in Calafate we were part of a relatively new tour with only a couple other people...and we ultimately wound up strapped into harnesses, making our way up a cliff to some Star Wars terrain (complete with sci-fi looking geo-domes...I mean, there are a lot of geo-domes in Argentina, but these were cool), and ultimately seeing and walking on a glacier that no one really goes to. We wouldn't have been able to find that on our own, and it ended up being one of the most memorable parts of the trip.

If that weren't enough, the local airport went on a pretty legit strike on the first day we were in Buenos Aires...we were a bit scared since it was literally the first leg of our Argentina tour, and if we missed our flights it might throw the rest of our flights/reservations into jeopardy. Of course though, the trip planner and his team took care of ALL of the logistics while we just had a nice day in Buenos Aires...if it had been just us, I don't think my husband's survival Spanish could have solved the problem. 

We will certainly use the travel company when we return to Argentina! Previous to this trip, we've never used an agency with our travels, but after this experience I have no idea how we ever managed. They made things very easy for us, and I honestly think it was cheaper to use than trying to plan it all on our own...seriously guys, they are all truly amazing. Thank you all so much for such an unforgettable, stress-free honeymoon!
