Your overall comments on the trip and the travel company:

We loved the trip and this travel company was really great in the way they took care of us. They were very amenable to our requested changes and made it happen. Representatives met us at every stop,they gave us a cellphone to use.

What were the most enjoyable or memorable parts of your trip?

Somre of the guides were excellent, especially the guide in Agra, and the next two guides afterward were also good. And they brought to life all the sights that we saw. The guide in Udaipur was ok, but not as good as the others and the guide in Delhi seemed to want to sell us things.

If you could take your trip again, what would you do differently?

I wasn’t prepared for how cold it was..I didn’t bring enough warm clothes..it was very frustrating because I had them at home. Also, it was too cold to swim and I was looking forward to swimming every day.

The hotel in Bijainager was ok, but there was nothing to do and we were scheduled to be there for two days! We did change that. Maybe flying would be an option, rather then a 7 hour drive over 2 days. The hotel in Narlai was also too long, but our travel specialist took care of that too.

We thank you for submitting the feedback on Zicasso website. You have raised the following issues which we would like to answer:

1. Warm Clothes due to cold. Please note that we had sent the clothing related information in email dated 26 Dec. The text from same email is pasted below for reference. Here we mentioned that the weather from Oct to Mar is cold and it can get cold in morning and evening. Considering this, we suggest you to bring warm clothes in layers so that you can have them as per your convenience.

Clothing

We suggest you wearing light informal clothing during the India tour. In winters (October to March) the temperatures in North India get cold and hence we would suggest you taking light woolens with you. The temperatures would vary during the day – in morning and evening the temperatures would be cold and in the afternoon the temperatures would be hot – Hence, we suggest you to wear the woolens in layers so that you can remove or add them based on your comfort level. In Summers (April to June), India is hot and hence would suggest you to carry sunscreen lotions and wear light clothing. In July to end of September, you may expect some rains. Weather will be a bit humid during this period.

2. Regarding long drives and flight options - As discussed during our email conversation that there are no internal flights between Jaipur - Jodhpur and Jodhpur - Udaipur - considering this we had included drives and stopovers. As you suggested in one of the emails, that one of the travelers does not like long drives, we decided to split the drives and have stopovers in Fort Barli and Rawla Narlai. But, during the trip we were flexible to make changes as per your wishes. We reduced a night in these places and increased in Jodhpur and Udaipur respectively at no additional price.

3. Guide Shopping in Delhi: We are sorry for the experience of your guide in Delhi. We shall offer the feedback to our local team and speak with the guide to further improve his services. Shopping by guides is a problem throughout Southeast Asia. Actually the guides are not employed by any travel company in India (They all are freelancers and government approved) and hence top companies like us only have a panel of good guides at different locations and we periodically offer feedback to not pressurize or take the guests for shopping tours. So, even after briefing and warning, they are a notorious and an unpredictable lot that tends to veer in other direction for profit. To avoid this we make it a point that we speak to our travelers every 2-3 days to understand if they are being taken to shops or forced to attend touristy demonstrations. My colleague Namita spoke with you almost every 2 days and also we offered an advisory regarding this in email dated 26 Dec 2018. Hope you understand our constraint in the above matter. We are doing best to offer best experience in this regard.
