Travel Review: Austria & Germany Vacation, Berlin, Hiking, Castles, 16-Day Trip

We did not want to leave each place we visited because the next one could not possibly be as good but each was.  Finishing the trip in a castle along the Rhine was fantastic.  We had started the day with a hike/climb and arrived in the castle midafternoon. The views from the castle were amazing and our balcony overlooked the river and all activity. We had a great dinner outside and that was very special.   
We also enjoyed Berlin- another highlight was the personal insights from the guides that the team had arranged. All were excellent and our day of touring in Berlin, ranging from WW2 to life beyond the Iron Curtain were great as well.
