Venice was pretty wild, completely foreign to the USA, we loved it. Murano glass is awesome. Pompeii was the most impressive, could have explored for the whole day, and our guide was highly passionate on the city. Then the Vatican, what can you say about the massive expanse of this country? Same with the ruins of Rome. Its hard to appreciate age as an American until you visit sites 3000 years old and in better physical shape than anything built in the USA.
