Travel Review: Birthday Trip to Italy, Rome, Florence, Venice, Walking Food Tour, Wine Tasting

I cannot say enough positive things about our recent trip to Italy.  It was a gift from my son and he booked it through this travel agent.  Our agent listened to what he thought we might like and took it from there.  The company thoughtfully planned each day and made the arrangements for us.  It was our first time traveling abroad so we were a bit nervous, but our agent's careful preplanning took all the stress out of it.  We had designated people to transfer us to and from the airports and train stations, all were on time with smiles and warm greetings. Our agent had a phone with our agenda, google maps and contact numbers waiting for us a the first hotel and called us to make sure we were enjoying our trip.  He added special touches along the way, a gift bag, arrangements for a birthday dinner surprise and the best tours and side trips we could have imagined.  If there was a way to do it I would give their company 10 stars :).  We are already planning to return to Italy next year and will definitely use this agent again.
