We had a wonderful trip! The only two issues that popped up where quickly resolved and handled with care by the local contacts.
The city of Buenos Aires is an amazing city with so much european style and flair and yet a unique twist all its own. Regional food is always a highlight for us and Argentina and Uruguay did not disappoint! BAs' restaurant scene is excellent and very affordable... the more contemporary artisanal cuisine is also quite exciting, in general not quite the polish of some we've been too at home but for less than half the price and such gastronomic enthusiasm from the chefs you definitely can't complain! The natural beauty of the Uruguayan campo is fantastic and staying in an estancia was the best choice for getting to know the countryside and the beautiful people. And of course, if you can afford the trip up north to Iguazu you won't be disappointed to see these most wonderful of falls and while your in the jungle don't bother staying anywhere but the gorgeous brand new Loi Suites just outside of the town of Iguazu (which is a pretty blah tourist trap town).
