Travel Review: Custom Tour of Austria, Greece, and Italy

Avoid the Onos in Chania. It was dark, not very hospitable, and not very comfortable. That said, it had an excellent location so we did get a feel for Chania and its history. Also, we were supposed to cell phone our host in Venice to tell him when we were coming but our cell phone didn't work. Our representative from the travel agency had emailed us to tell our host and we had had not opportunity to use email. We needed to be told before we started on our trip that he needed us to let him know when we were on our way. We waited locked out in the dark for a few minutes before a kind neighbor from the same building let us in.
