I think the referral to this Argentina travel agency was just what we needed at the time- they were largely reliable but not particularly knowledgeable about Ushuaia...

What were the most enjoyable or memorable parts of your trip?

We traveled for 3 weeks-- Zicasso helped us with the first week. The hotel in Ushuaia was barely acceptable: clearly an absentee owner, no place to put your clothes ( no shelves nor dresser) tiny bathroom although I believe we paid top price for that town. On the other hand the staff was sweet. Transfer to the hotel was prompt- but never showed up to take us to next destination-- Mare Australis pier. Mare Australis was as promised-- a good company and lovely excursions--

If you could take your trip again, what would you do differently?

After tierra del fuego we continued on for two weeks of hiking- one week at Torresdel Paine and another in El Chalten--

I wouldn't change much about the trip- for a first trip to Patagonia it was, overall, splendid but if I were going again I would include another region- probably Altacama
