Travel Review: European Vacation, Croatia, Slovenia, Montenegro, Vas, Tounj, Murter, Kotor, Zagreb, Dubrovnik, Split

Since my entire heritage is from Slovenia and Croatia I went with the hopes of locating the towns of where my grandparents migrated to the U.S. from.  We somewhat felt like we were on a scavenger hunt because we really didn't know if we would find any relatives.  We did find the town where my dad's parents were from: Dolenja Vas, Slovenia and did find a relative (cousin) who lives there.  We also visited Tounj, Croatia and there we found my grandmother's sister's daughter and saw the house where my grandmother was born.  Also, we visited Murter along the coast of the Adriatic.  There we met and visited with my grandmother's brother's son and his family.  

We also added a day trip into Montenegro and really enjoyed our visit to Kotor.  Very much enjoyed our day trip.
