Acclamations and commendations come to mind describing how this trip was planned and executed.   Our agent and his colleagues did a laudable job putting the trip together on a very tight schedule, accommodating four very different personalities, needs and desires.  Attention was paid to detail from the start.   Our family was treated like royalty from the moment we deplaned til the sad hour we had to get on the plane back.

We had trepidations about traveling abroad, none of us able to fluently speak italian.  Such anxieties were very misplaced.  Our agent structured this tour thru three cities semiously rendezvousing with intriguing personal guides and drivers.   Beyond the personal guides, mere mention of our agent straightened backs, and ushered us to the front of the line (in a manner of speaking) 

While we were robbed of any stories of things gone wrong, (something that always happens when traveling with family),  we now have new tales to tell of falling in love with new foods,  traveling to places on our bucket list,  learning about our heritage,  experiencing customs we've only heard about.
