Which Country (Countries) did you visit on this trip?

Your overall comments on the trip and the travel company:

The trip was well-planned, and corresponded closely to the wishes we conveyed. The most important specifics:
A. The selected hotels were either very nice/pleasant or very interesting (except the last, the hotel in Reims, that was quite far from Best. Unlike the given description, there was no clue we could see it was built anytime before 2015, except maybe its lighting scheme that seemed medieval, defied both adequacy and description).
B. The various guides & chauffeurs were all of high caliber. I would like to specifically commend the crew of the Colmar tour and the two full-day guides.
C. The prompt attention of this travel company, and the person there we mostly interfaced with to requests during the planning phase and even more so, during the trip, is highly commended. Our travel specialist was very responsive.

What were the most enjoyable or memorable parts of your trip?

I see little point now to answer this. Let us see in a year what I remember.

If you could take your trip again, what would you do differently?

Not much. We would use probably fewer towns to stay in, serving as centers for up-to-one-day trips, to save the relocation effort & hassle. We might also have enjoyed an occasional chamber music or classical music concert during the 13 days of the trip. In Paris---as in Boston---these are available at many churches. We couldn't find anything like that in the Grand Est, but it is likely we did not know where to look for the info, so would have appreciated some guidance.
Interestingly, this was for some of us a first fully-guided tour. We had trips closely planned for us before, but we did all the driving; at some points during this trip we would have enjoyed driving on our own, but on the balance, there was much to commend and prefer the guided version.
