Your overall comments on the trip and the travel company:

This travel company delivered on all they promised. Our trip was tailored specifically for my sister and I based on their suggestions and our preferences resulting in a vacation that exceeded expectations. Staff were available on call and the private tours were exceptional. Hotel and restaurant choices were spot on. I would strongly recommend them- especially for first time travelers to Germany.

What were the most enjoyable or memorable parts of your trip?

Our favorite part of the trip was hiking the mountains around Oberammergau. The scenery was just lovely. The private tours were exceptional. Our bike tour of Munich on day 1 was the perfect way to combat jet lag and see the city. We appreciated privately touring Neuschwanstein castle early before the hoards of visitors clogged the views. Rothenburg is a must visit city with many fun shops. We thoroughly enjoyed our hotel locations- right in the heart of cities we visited.

If you could take your trip again, what would you do differently?

The end of the trip included too many options of itinerary to choose from based on the time and driving constraints we had. The Rhine River cruise was more public transport than tour. I wished to have more information on the towns and castles we passed. Also, I would have enjoyed doing this in the morning to leave more time at Schonburg castle- especially given our early flight the next morning. Otherwise, I really enjoyed my time in Germany and would change nothing else.
