Travel Review: Ireland Vacation, Dublin, Galway, Dingle Peninsula, Aran Island

We stayed several nights in two cities to avoid repacking each night. However, that resulted in long drives each day out and back. In retrospect, moving each night would have been preferable. And we would have spent longer in Dublin.

I am glad you were able to use this vacation as a learning experience with the itinerary and driving around Ireland. Everyone is different in how they like to travel so we do our best to narrow down the option that makes the most sense based around what you are looking to do. I understood it was your preference to have more of a "home base" in each area vs. moving around to too many places to avoid driving each day. This can be a great experience to enjoy a more leisurely type of trip with the rental car at your disposal for day trips out of town as you wish based around our daily itinerary recommendation. I am thrilled to hear that you made it out to the Dingle Peninsula which is stunning and best toured by car from Killarney town!
