Travel Review: Italy Birthday Vacation, Tuscany, Florence, Cinque Terre, Greve, Hiking, Cooking Class, Local Food & Wine

We had an amazing day in the Tuscan/Chianti country side with our private driver.  We stopped in Greve to walk around and shop, then he brought us to two wineries.  The first stop was a larger venue who served up a great lunch with several wine pairings.  Next was off to a small, family owned location where the farmer walked us through is grapes and olives and gave us a real country tasting experience.

We also spend 3 wonderful days at the Cinque Terre, enjoying the sight and hiking.  We did a Pesto Making Class in Levanto that was a highlight!  Really fun, interactive, perfect size groups topped off with wine and Limoncino...can't go wrong.  Great suggestion!
