Your overall comments on the trip and the travel company:

Our trip was simply magical. It was in celebration of our 35th wedding anniversary and it was everything my wife and I hoped for and more. There were a few hiccups with one or two arrangements but in every instance the tour operator proactively took action to make things right. The accommodations in every location were wonderful. We booked another tour for the fall of 2020 with Zicasso and remain hopeful that we will be able to make that trip as planned.

What were the most enjoyable or memorable parts of your trip?

There were highlights in every city. The two that stood out the most for me were our time in Siena and other small villages in Tuscany and our time in Porto including the visit to the Douro Valley. That said our time in Florence which included a cooking class was very special as well. Our other stops were Milan and Venice which had there share of magical moments as well.

If you could take your trip again, what would you do differently?

I would have broken it into two trips. While we enjoyed every destination we had to pack and unpack several times and that was a bit tiring. Also fewer stops would have given us the opportunity to see more of each destination. However, in hindsight I wouldn’t have changed anything as we were able to visit all of those wonderful places before the onset of the pandemic. It just reinforces why we should travel when we can as we never know what the future holds.
