Travel Review: Italy Vacation, Rome, Venice, Florence, Ravello, Positano, Capri, Cooking Class

There we many enjoyable and memorable parts but I will just mention a few here.  The first was our tour of the Amalfi coast.  We started in Positano and visited Amalfi and Ravello.  The sites were fantastic and our guide was great.  We stopped for lunch at a family run restaurant just outside of Ravello - the food was excellent and the service first rate. 

We had a great night in Venice on a Bacari tour.  Our guide took us to some of the most popular Bacari for Cicheti where we tried the food and wine and mingled with the locals.  Great time!

Cooking in Florence with the chef in her home was a lot of fun and we learned how to make pasta with pesto sauce - delicious!  The local market was a great experience.

We spent a fun, relaxing day on a private boat tour to the beautiful Island of Capri.  We lounged in the boat, toured the island, and ended the day with a delicious lunch overlooking the water of the Mediterranean.
