How do I describe the prefect vacation, a trip of a lifetime that exceeded all expectations? I must start by saying thank you to our travel specialist who took the time to get to know me and my family via telephone and email while helping us plan our trip, suggesting experiences I wouldn’t have imagined, and I am so grateful that she did.

Every one of our tours were personalized with every last detail taken care of, every tour guide and driver so knowledgeable about history and local customs, all with great personalities, each excursion planned and executed to perfection. Our travel specialist and her team were determined to make my family feel like the most important visitors in Italy. As for our accommodations, all were lovely and in the perfect locations, with great staffs that went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. Waiting for us upon our arrival was a binder with our complete itinerary, all necessary vouchers, an extensive list of recommended restaurants, and a cell phone to reach our specialist at any time, but everything was so perfect we didn't need to call her - yet she called us to check on our well-being – how wonderful! I can't say enough about how pleasant it was to work with her and share the company of her wonderful guides and drivers.

There were times we thought it couldn’t get any better and then we were surprised with extra experiences we didn’t expect or plan, but our travel specialist surely did, like a Gelato tasting in Florence, wonderful lunches and dinners that included special dishes seemingly prepared just for us by excellent chefs who highlighted local specialties and delicacies, the freshest fish, and most superb wines. I was introduced to Limoncello and am happy we met! And I cannot forget the many fabulous deserts seemingly designed to impress my desert aficionado wife.

I would recommend this travel specialist and her team to anyone who is looking to experience a dream vacation!

What were the most enjoyable or memorable parts of your trip?

It is impossible to choose the most enjoyable or memorable parts of our trip because every day was filled with wonderful experiences and surprises, something for all of us to enjoy, as well as many first time experiences that provided lasting impressions and memories. My wife and I travelled with our two grown sons, back to join us for a family vacation, and our specialist planned something for all. We shared tours of many awe inspiring and historical sights, numerous cultural experiences, enjoyed the small towns and great people we met, loved our family cooking class in Rome planned as an experience for my wife, but thoroughly enjoyed by all, and I’ll surely never forget our private boat tour along the Amalfi Coast to Capri, an experience that allowed my sons to swim and snorkel in the most beautiful water and coves imaginable. We enjoyed a day long drive and tour along the coast with stops in Ravello and Amalfi and spent another indescribable day in Cinque Terre that included a hike from Vernazza to Corniglia – and I made it all the way - fueled by delicious focaccia pizza, fresh anchovies caught hours before, and delicious local wine in a dining spot tourists would never find, but our travel company surely did. Speaking of fantastic food – I must repeat how much we enjoyed the many, varied tasting menus prepared by wonderful chefs who made it a point to interact with us at tables with breathtaking views and/or wonderful local ambiance. In short, I have never been taken care of so well - wherever we went, night and day, I found myself in a dream like state with an awe-struck grin plastered on my face.

If you could take your trip again, what would you do differently?

The only thing I would change is to add more days to our trip because we didn’t want it to end however, we had to juggle four vacation schedules, and thank goodness for our travel specialist who adroitly planned everything we asked for and more in the days we had. I am sure I will be returning to Italy in the future, and when I do so, I will first contact her and this travel company.
