From the very first contact, Analia from this Peru tour operator was not only an excellent travel agent who delivered prompt, friendly and knowledgeable service, but was our safety net/guardian angel as we traveled. A few minor mishaps were speedily corrected by contacting the agent in Cuzco (Veronica.) Analia was in touch with Veronica to ensure everything went smoothly. Although my international flight was scheduled by me, not Analia, she was diligent in patching up problems caused by Avianca. So throughout the trip help was there whenever we needed it, and we even chose to rearrange a few of the local tours with no problems whatever. I most certainly recommend this tour operator!

What were the most enjoyable or memorable parts of your trip?

As always in my travels, I enjoyed most meeting the people of Peru, observing and sometimes partaking in their customs and cultures. Having many opportunities to observe the hard-working Peruvians, their colorful daily life, and their joyous celebrations really demonstrated the embodiment of "Pachamama." We found the 10 hour trip on the Andean Explorer from Cuzco to Puno absolutely magnificent: fine dining, excellent service and the most beautiful views from the observation deck. In all my years of travel, this is the only 10 hour train ride I would gladly do again and again. Titicaca's islands and villages should not be missed!

If you could take your trip again, what would you do differently?

One day in Lima would have been sufficient for us, as we found that the Sacred Valley area and Cusco area had far more to offer of the true essence of Peru .I chose to book my international flight with Avianca (NOT recommended!,) became stranded in Bogota in the middle of the night due to a re-scheduled flight, was promised a re-booking to Cuzco which didn't exist, waited 3 days for luggage, etc. NEVER again will I fly Avianca...."customer service" does not exist with them. Peru has so much to offer....if time allowed I would have taken more days to just "hang out" in cafes and out-of-the-way places, and explore Arequipa, the rain forest, and more of Lake Titicaca.
