Your overall comments on the trip and the travel company:

We just recently returned from a two week getaway to New Zealand and Fiji that was arranged bythis travel company. I worked with Lindsay to complete the itinerary for a trip of the lifetime. We started in Auckland for a trip to Wahiki Island with a private van and tour guide for the day. The next day we were off to the Waitomo Caves, and since there had been a lot of rain we had our tour changed to another activity when we arrived. Next we made it to Rotorua for a white water rafting and mountain biking trip followed by a Maori dinner experience that night. Lastly, we hopped on a plane to Queenstown where we visited the Milford Sound and golfed at Milbrook. After a few days in Queenstown we left for relaxation and sunshine in Fiji. The entire experience with this company went smoothly and Lindsay was very informative during the entire planning process. Once we arrived in New Zealand and Fiji we were picked up right away and given important documents for our trip. There were a few hiccups during our stay, but nothing that the travel agency could control. Once we returned I informed Lindsay of the issues (mainly cancelled activities because of weather) and she is looking into each issue so we can be refunded. I would definitely work with this company again for a future trip!

What were the most enjoyable or memorable parts of your trip?

The most memorable part of our trip was white water rafting in Rotorua, the experience was amazing. The crew was very entertaining and informative while making us feel safe in the rapids. We received very good quality pictures on a USB from the trip, and wore our GoPro to record most of the ride. It was something that we will remember for the rest of our lives.

On another note, the most enjoyable part of the trip for me was getting to know the Fijians that worked at the resort where we stayed. We made so many friends while we were there that I cried when we said our good byes. It was amazing to be able to learn about their culture and really embrace everything that Fiji had to offer. I promised all of them that we would be back to visit in the future.

If you could take your trip again, what would you do differently?

If I could do this trip again I think I would go when it was a little warmer in New Zealand. The weather in Fiji was perfect except for the rain the first couple of days, but once the sun came out it was great. We actually ended up extending our trip one day, because we didn't want to leave the sun and Fiji. The weather in New Zealand, especially Queenstown was very COLD. We did a fun ride on the Jet Boat, and it was a little difficult to really enjoy myself because I was freezing. Maybe if we went a month earlier it would have been a little warmer, and more enjoyable. Other than that I would have stayed longer in both places if we could. My husband already said that we will never be able to top this trip with any other vacation, so the next one will hopefully be just as great.
