Travel Review: Luxury Tour of India, Udaipur, Jodhpur, Mumbai, Ajanta, Ellora Caves, Bollywood Tour

We would skip the Bollywood Tour in Mumbai, the city tour in Aurangabad and the camel cart ride at the Bisnow Village outside of Jodhpur.

"We are sorry to learn that you did not like Bishnoi Trip in Jodhpur. Our reason for including this was to provide a village experience, but it is unfortunate that you did not like it. 

Pan Chakki (water Mill) and Mini Taj are amongst the highlights of Aurangabad. You shall find these in all the travel books. We are mandated to include these monuments as many clients complaint that we are cutting corners by not providing highlights. But it is unfortunate that you did not like these monuments. The fort in Daulatabad is in more terrible condition and again is not as grand as other palaces and forts in Rajasthan. Hence we did not include this. The tourism department of Maharashtra is not doing a great job in preserving the monuments. Also, had we not included these monuments you would have got bored as the city is small and does not have much to do other than visiting these monuments. 

We are sorry for the guide in Mumbai. We have removed her from our roster of Guides in Mumbai.”

Regarding the guide in Mumbai, after our analysis we found to know that it was guide’s mistake of not including the mosque and a temple in the itinerary. Leesa had visited Synagogue earlier, so the guide assumed that they would not be interested in seeing the Mosque and Temple in Mumbai. We had clearly shared the itinerary with the guide but it was this wrong assumption by guide that led to client disappointment. We have removed this guide from our roster. We have also apologised the client for the same. Please note that both the Mosque and Jain Temple were later covered in the itinerary. Foreigners are not allowed in both these monuments and these are supposed to be seen from outside, which they did in later part of trip. 

Please note that December is a period with high tourism traffic. There are very limited top guides at smaller locations like Mumbai, Aurangabad, Khajuraho, Orchha (which are not highly visited). You would have seen this trend of clients booking the trip at the last moment. One of the earlier clients Frederuqie, Moshe, Leesa all have booked their trips at the last moment. We have to follow-up many time and make them aware about limited availability of guides/ hotels but still they book the trip at the last moment. This results in Top guides assigned to other duties. We still try very hard to assign the best guides for client trips. For E.g. the same client Leesa liked the services of guides in Jodhpur and Udaipur. There are some things that are out of our control like availability of top guides etc., but we shall ensure that we increase our roster of top guides in every city.
