Travel Review: Luxury Trip to Croatia, Split, Dubrovnik, Hvar, Plitvice Lakes National Park, Wine & Food Pairing

We were actually in love with the whole tour. There were so many highlights to see in this country and Zicasso arranged so well putting all in place! Plitvice National Park was one of them impressing us with the most natural and clearest waterfall we have ever seen. 

The wine and food pairing at the vineyard in Split is also another place we still talk about over meal. It is the most private lunch and wine testing we, once again, ever had. It defines the feeling of home with its best hospitality and warm welcoming with homemade wine and food and the most peaceful surrounding and the breathtaking view you would never forget.

Of course, we cannot vanish the experience of sitting in the basement smelling oak barrels zipping its perfect local wine, nipping cheese and dipping bread with olive oil in Hvar. We couldn't help buying bottles of wine and olive oil home. Again, best hospitality.

Oysters and mussels! Another signature that always stimulates our digesting juice everytime we talk about. We got to see how they farm and grow oysters and mussels in each generation. Thanks to Zicasso finding this place!

Last, but not least, We love Dubrovnik! Such a magical heritage with golden walls glowing at night.
