Travel Review: Luxury Trip to Scotland, Ireland & England, London, Museums, History, Hiking, Local Cuisine

The trip we received was great, and that's what got the 5 stars. We had a wonderful trip touring England, Scotland, and Ireland. 

Our travel company had a new iPhone app that made it easy to follow along on the itinerary. There were some quality control errors that gave wrong information to us for a tour, and they worked hard to make it right. 

I did not like how late the company provided us an itinerary, only a week or so before departure. That made it very difficult to do pre-trip planning, and to do quality checks. They separate booking from our contact and that strange disconnect made the travel planning awkward and sometimes disorienting. 

This company is not in-country, and we thought that was part of what Zicasso offers. Our last trip with a Zicasso Spain agent was great because of it. This company is on the East Coast of the US, and that it not in-country. Their knowledge of Ireland and the UK was as experienced US travellers, and not as locals. That is not what we thought Zicasso provides...
