Travel Review: Peru & Ecuador Vacation, Lima, Tambopata, Machu Picchu, The Galapagos Islands, Hiking, 3-Week Tour

Never having been to South America, as well as being females in our 60's, my friend and I were concerned about traveling in a non-English-speaking foreign country for three weeks. Our schedule was physically ambitious within our timeframe; we wanted to hit our key bucket list sights, namely the Peruvian rainforest in Tambopata, Machu Picchu, and the Galapagos in Ecuador. We planned our trip over the course of one year, and we had selected Zicasso. After attending a travel expo and researching Zicasso, it seemed to be a reliable travel agency to go through.
After contacting Zicasso, we were put in touch with one of their associate agencies in Peru. The agent who handled our trip was outstanding. We made changes and additions to our trip throughout the course of the year, and he responded quickly and thoroughly, always meeting our requests and questions. When we finally set out for our first stop in Lima, all nervousness evaporated when we were promptly met by our friendly, English speaking guide. This was the case at every plane, train, boat, and shuttle transfer during our trip. We were in excellent hands.
