Your overall comments on the trip and the travel company:

I appreciated that Zicasso provided a choice of travel companies for my vacation. After speaking with a couple different companies, I chose this company and this travel agent helped me plan the perfect vacation. Remaining safe, healthy, and comfortable was a priority for me and my family. Our travel agent recommended the best locations to stay and to visit, and provided many meals in the finest places in Peru. This made our visit not only enjoyable, but luxurious.

What were the most enjoyable or memorable parts of your trip?

Of course, Macchu Picchu was a mind-blowing experience. Our travel agent paired us with the most wonderful guide who was with us for five days altogether. She showed us Moray, Salt Mines, Pisac, and Macchu Picchu in the Sacred Valley and then showed us the wonderful city of Cuzco, her home town. Our guide soon felt like one of our own family members and we were sad to eventually part ways. Her tours and time devoted were always thorough and complete, while we noticed that other tourists seemed to be getting "shorted" on their tours. She appeared highly regarded by all those that we came into contact with at markets, museums and restaurants. This appeared to be a big plus for our experience and I would highly recommend having our travel agent put her into any Peru travel plans.

If you could take your trip again, what would you do differently?

Only one planning change I would make. We toured Macchu Picchu in the afternoon, which was great and the best time of day to do it, but then our plans called for us to go to Cusco that evening. This made for an extremely long day, arriving in Cusco late and tired. Looking back, we should have stayed in the valley that night, which would have meant a slight shuffling of our schedule.
