Travel Review: Peru Vacation, Lima, Cusco, Machu Picchu, Amazon, Lake Titicaca Floating Islands, Shopping, Local Culture

It is hard to list a few memorable parts when there were so many.  The train ride to Aguas Calliente was very nice.  The moment we stepped out onto the terrace and could first see Machu Picchu took our breath away.  The museum hotel in Cusco was over the top. The entire jungle experience will never leave my memory.  Larcomar in Lima at night was a sight to behold.  The people of Peru were so friendly and accommodating as well as hard working.  But when all was said and done I think I'll remember our guide the most.  He just seemed to know when and where to have us so we were not trampled by the tourists.  He even took us for a special ceremony where we gave thanks to Mother Earth.
