Travel Review: Peru Vacation, Lima, Cusco, Sacred Valley, Aguas Calientes, Inca Trail Hike, Cooking Lesson, Cooking Class

We missed our reservation at Central in Lima, a regrettable event due to weather in Cusco.  The Inca trail hike was much more difficult than expected, our trip damaged by a nasty respiratory infection in Cusco and altitude sickness was harsh, something I have not experienced before despite being at equivalent altitudes before.  

Lima is grey and wet, it's worth a visit but only a day or so.  I would spend more time in the Sacred Valley, less in Cusco, and would prepare myself better for climate and altitude changes.  The bad events were out of the control of our guides and travel agency.
