Travel Review: Tailor-Made Germany & Austria Vacation, Salzburg, Vienna, Berlin Bike Tour, Munich with Art and Castles Tours,...

We loved the Fat Tire bike tour in Berlin, the Mozart clavier and violin concert in Salzburg, the castles tour in Bavaria (Lindenhoff and Neuschwanzstein), and the Schonbrunn Palace tour in Vienna (though it was a bit rushed), and the superb Hapsburg buildings and grounds in Vienna. We also thought the Topographie des Terrors in Berlin was amazing--though quite disturbing. We loved the Adlon Kempinski (Berlin), THe Goldener Hirsch (Salzburg) and the Hotel Bristol (Vienna) for their service, location, charm, rooms--everything. The complementary bottle of champagne at the Bristol was lovely, as were the upgrades we routinely got upon checking in. Munich was a great city, lots of fun, great food, and lots to see. All the connections, air and train and car service, were great.
