Travel Review: Tour of Ireland & The UK, London, Dublin, Cliffs of Moher, Ring of Kerry, Windsor Castle

We booked a trip to the U.K. and Ireland.  I was directed to this travel agency who contacted me and explained about what we needed to do to book the trip.  At first they were very helpful in trying to select things that interested me and places that they thought I would enjoy.  I wanted a bit more off the beaten track than the usual tourist and they recommended a private driver.  This was great as we were able to vary our itinerary as we went along. One tour we were booked on didn't happen because the company put the wrong time on the itinerary sheet and when we got to the departure site the bus had already left.  They happily refunded our money for that portion, but it left us to fend for ourselves that day.  

Another scheduled trip involved a pick up at another hotel other than the one we were staying at and that bus never showed up.  We had to take a taxi to the venue but the manager of the place insisted on refunding us our cab fare.  

I would have liked to have the names and phone numbers of the drivers and the companies that they were with so that we could have confirmed the pick ups for those days we used them.  You might like to add them to the itinerary for the customers.  Most of the hotel staff were very helpful in getting us confirmations as we needed them. 

All in all, it was a great vacation.
