Travel Review: Unique Cultural Tour to Cambodia

If I were to do it over again, I definitely would not take the boat ride from Siem Reap to Phnom Penh. I felt it was unsafe, there no lifejackets or life boats, and many places where you could not see the shore from the boat. The boat was old, dirty, and propeller shaft broke about 30 minutes out of Siem Reap. One of the staff had to go into the water to fix it while we waited about a half hour. The boat was small and felt like you were closed in. The windows were covered with orange translucent material making it hard to enjoy the scenery. I would have chosen to take a bus if I knew what I was getting into.
