Vacation Review: Australia, New Zealand & Tahiti, Mo'orea, Sydney Tour, Queenstown, Flight To Milford Sound, Hamilton Island

I don't know that we would do anything differently, but the hotel in Hamilton Island is tired.  The views sell it so I don't know that a better option exists, but it really needs some work.

As for tours on Hamilton Island, we would would book the Helicopter tour that lands on Whitehaven beach vs. separate Helicopter and sailing tours.

New Zealand was perfect.

The flying back process from Moorea seems like it could have had a better plan.  The flights leave late at night and the Tahiti airport is woefully lacking in support for those who took the last ferry from Moorea and then have to sit at a closed airport in 90+ degree temps and humidity while waiting for the airport to open.  I almost rented a car just to sit in air conditioning for a few hours.  The local restaurants don't offer much alternative.
