Your overall comments on the trip and the travel company:

We had an excellent experience with with this travel agency. In the planning stages, they were responsive to our needs and to any requests for changes. During the trip, on the one occasion that we had concerns about the train we had been booked on, they corrected the issue immediately. As for the trip itself, it was terrific - the hotels, flights, activities and guides they booked for us were all fabulous. Overall, we were very satisfied with this agency and would recommend them to others wanting to travel to Vietnam.

What were the most enjoyable or memorable parts of your trip?

Trekking in Sapa, Halong Bay cruise, rappelling on Marble Mountain while in Hoi An (the guides were awesome) the hotel in Hue and the Hoi An resort and the night-time Saigon tour on Vespas.

If you could take your trip again, what would you do differently?

We would spend less time in Hanoi and more time in Hue and Hoi An.

We would ensure that we took the Victoria Express train both to and from Sapa. (We were booked on the Sapaley Express on the way there and that was not an acceptable substitute for the Victoria Express.)

We would be clearer in communicating what we wanted to do (regardless of the itinerary) when starting out with a new guide in a new area i.e. we have seen enough markets or temples to last a lifetime and would rather spend the afternoon at the pool.
