Argentina and Chile Tour: Buenos Aires, Mendoza Wineries, Salta, Valparaiso

I cannot say enough about our tour operator and our travel agent. Our trip was amazing because of our agent's guidance and his suggestions in planning the trip were fantastic. He probed our interests and planned the trip to meet these interest and have the kind of experiences that we'll always remember. During the trip, he was there for us, meeting us for lunch the first day and keeping in touch all the way either by phone or email. Because of his personal involvement, we knew we were never alone. The guides he provided were marvelous. For a city tour, we had someone well versed in the history of the country and city. We collect unusual contemporary sculpture and paintings and hoped to be able to find some interesting work that we could bring home. I sent our agent several images of the kind of art we collected, and the guides he provided were wonderful. They took us only to galleries and studios of artists whose work was in keeping with our interest. We were able to buy work and the guides helped us to ship the work back to the U.S. Our guide in Salta was extraordinary - he knew everything about everything. The hotels he recommended were perfect. This was truly a memorable trip.
