Australia, New Zealand Luxury Tour Review: Sydney, Abel Tasman Catamaran, Hump Ridge Hike, Sailing, 26-Day Vacation

Overall, the Zicasso tour company did well. The execution, travel arrangements, and lodging were very good, especially considering we were traveling for 26 days. All the travel went as planned and the lodging overall was above our expectations.

The only issue we had with the travel company was in terms of communication. We planned on a very full schedule, traveling to a number of areas with different climates. We specifically asked about what gear to bring and were not given the best advice. In the future, they should provide a clear packing list specific to each segment of the trip. This would specifically pertain to footwear. Our trip would have been much better if we had been informed of the best boots to use for our hiking excursions as we were in water and mud on many of the days. We also brought layers to better adjust to temperature changes, but had to buy fleece jackets as we did see temps in the 30s and 40s. As we thought it was summer, we did not anticipate temperatures this low.

Overall, it was a great trip that a few changes would have made even better.
