Australia Vacation Review: Hamilton Island, Sydney, Whitehaven Beach, Bondi Beach, Coogee Beach, Scuba Diving, Walking Tour, Golf

Honestly, I'm not sure if we would really change a thing! For the sake of offering some advice, I'll mention a few small things, but we were genuinely happy with the whole trip.

If we were to do the trip again, we would probably skip or change some of the excursions in and around Sydney. The initial tour we did was really good, but we later realized we could have taken ferries to some of the same locations, and we potentially would have enjoyed seeing the harbor that way.

We loved the Bondi Beach to Coogee Walk and would have considered learning how to surf if we had more time. We also are not sure we would go back to the Blue Mountains. While the canyons were absolutely beautiful, it was a long day and drive from Sydney.

Our favorite part of the tour was the tour guide and the kangaroos! We are very glad we ended the trip on Hamilton Island, as we felt our excursions got better and better over the course of the trip. It would have been a bit disappointing if we had ended our trip with the two Sydney excursions, as they were probably our least favorite.

We probably would do the Mossman Gorge, the Daintree, and Cape Tribulation excursion a bit differently.

First, we were really tired after finishing up on the liveaboard. It would have been nice to sleep in a bit the next morning instead of doing another full-day tour at 7.30am.

Second, while we really enjoyed all of the points of interest visited on the tour, we're not sure the tour bus was the best format for us. We wished we would have rented a car so we could have visited all of the destinations on our own, at our own pace.
