Australia Vacation Review: Sydney, Melbourne, Kangaroo Island, Adelaide, Daintree Rainforest, Featherdale Wildlife Park, Uluru

In Sydney, we took a tour of the Blue Mountains which included a stop at the Featherdale Wildlife Park.  The Blue Mountains were beautiful, and Featherdale was a wonderful experience seeing Australia's fascinating wildlife close up, and hand feeding kangaroos.  At Uluru, we had a fabulous sunrise tour that took us out to the rock where we were able to watch the sun come up and the beautiful array of colors on the rock.  Our guide was extremely knowledgeable about the stories of the Indigenous People and helped us gain a deeper understanding of the importance of this place to the tribe.  In Port Douglas, we had a fabulous all day guide that took us into the Daintree National Park and showed us beautiful places, wild life, and told us countless stories about life on the North Coast.  Our most spectacular experience was our two day tour of Kangaroo Island.   Our guide knew everything about the island and found an incredible array of wild life.
