Your overall comments on the trip and the travel company:

This was my first overseas trip and I could not have enjoyed it more. I felt comfortable traveling solo, knowing I had everything planned for me, including pick ups, drop offs, and guides already waiting for me. I also had a contact available if I ran into any issues or questions. The guides were friendly, knowledgeable, and showed me the sights one-on-one. I got to see things and places and ask questions of the guides, and if I wanted to spend more time seeing something, I could, as it was all catered to what I wanted to do and see.

What were the most enjoyable or memorable parts of your trip?

Part of my trip was to see where my grandfather had fought during WWII, and being able to visit those sights and put that into perspective as to what he did was really memorable. He didn't really talk much about his time during the war while he was alive, as I had known he had seen really tough stuff. But seeing his division listed on some of these memorials explained why, as he was in the thick of things. It was an experience I'll always be able to remember and share with other family members.

If you could take your trip again, what would you do differently?

I'd like to have it last longer, but that's always dependent upon leave time at work! I'd also probably pack differently so I could take more souvenirs home. I'd perhaps try to visit more of France. However, some of these things are just from having spent time in these locations that I was able to visit this time!
