Your overall comments on the trip and the travel company:

We had a fantastic time. During planning, Zicasso's operator was easy to communicate with and made great recommendations.

All of the hotels selected for the trip were first-class.

Each tour guide was punctual, knowledgeable, and informative. All of the transfers were seamless and the drivers were careful, professional, and patient.

The food at every hotel was excellent and the variety accommodated the couple traveling with us, who are Kosher and vegetarian.

We made a few requests during the trip and the answer was always, "Sure, no problem”.

What were the most enjoyable or memorable parts of your trip?

At one of the hotels, the monkey trail was exciting, with a large snake climbing in a tree and a family of monkeys frolicking in the canopy. The pool bar had a large selection of drinks and fantastic views of the ocean and forest.

Our next hotel was eco-friendly and had outstanding sunset views.

The other hotel had a farm and my wife and I were able to milk a cow. The hot-spring pools were wonderful.

We were fascinated by the lifestyle and customs we learned about at the Maleku Indian Reserve.

At the Danaus Nature Reserve and Butterfly Garden, we were lucky to watch a three-toed sloth climb from tree to tree.

If you could take your trip again, what would you do differently?

We would take one or two fewer forest hiking excursions and add in the outrigger canoe trip. During our stay at the first hotel, we should have taken an afternoon and explored Manuel Antonio on our own.
