Your overall comments on the trip and the travel company:

The trip was fantastic! Zicasso’s travel agent did such an exceptional job before and during the trip. He put together a great itinerary, working with me to make some changes to best accommodate our family. During the trip, he was incredibly responsive and helpful, making changes on short notice as things came up.

We are a family of seven, with five kids ranging in age from nine to 17, so it can be hard to find activities that meet everyone’s interests. Our agent did an exceptional job throughout in responding to our requests and creating a truly memorable trip for everyone.

What were the most enjoyable or memorable parts of your trip?

Depends on who you ask! The kids loved the ziplining in Monteverde and, of course, the time at the beach in Tamarindo. I also loved the night hike in Monteverde and the hot springs in Arenal.

If you could take your trip again, what would you do differently?

I think the only change would be for our time in Monteverde. We got there at midday and didn't have anything planned until that evening. Because we didn’t have a car and our accommodation was far from the town, we had about five hours of downtime. While I enjoyed that, the kids were pretty restless and wanted to be out doing or seeing things. Our accommodation was not really conducive to going out and exploring.

I also think the coffee tour was not a big hit. I think the kids would have preferred an earlier departure for Tamarindo.
