Croatia & Montenegro Mother Daughter Trip Review, Hvar Island Private Wine Tour, Plitvice Lakes National Park

I wish we would have spent 1 more day at Hvar as it is a really beautiful island! We loved the hotel and wish we would have spent more time relaxing there and soaking up the sun. 
I also wish we would have researched or received more information about the Montenegro tour. Our tour guide was not very informative and didn’t give us much information at all. Montenegro was beautiful and I wish I would have received information about climbing the walls in Kotor ahead of time so I would have had enough time to climb to the top during our feee time. 
A detailed itinerary with times and a breakdown of the activities of each tour would have been helpful.

The experience is always better when the tours are private because we adjust the itinerary to your interests and wishes. With group tours, it is hard because of the bigger number of people and different interests. For that reason, we do not do too many group tours.

When it comes to group tours to Montenegro we depend on a local organizer who is selling this tour to all the agencies and hotels. We never know how big the group will be until the morning of departure because the entire city is selling this excursion until the night before. Now, depending on the size of the group, the itinerary can change. If the group is smaller it takes less time to pick up all the travelers in their hotels and it takes less time to cross the border. In that case, the group has more time to spend in each town. When the group is bigger it takes much more time to pick up all the people in their hotels and crossing the border takes much more time. For that reason, we are only allowed to provide a list of places that will be included to visit, but not the exact timing for the activities. Your comments and opinion are very valuable to us and we will definitely be speaking with the Dubrovnik office.
