Your overall comments on the trip and the travel company:

We had a wonderful, well-planned trip to Croatia and Slovenia. A big thanks to The Owner / Travel Consultant with the tour company, for custom-tailoring the trip based on our desires and timeline. We prefer to pack a lot into a day and she made it happen. The recommended hotels were all very nice and especially well located. The private transfers, drivers and English speaking guides were all excellent. The special tours that we requested each day went off without a hitch. We had a fun-filled trip without having to worry about a single thing.

What were the most enjoyable or memorable parts of your trip?

We especially liked our Lake Bled visit and the Postjana Cave in Slovenia. Lake Bled was an idyllic setting and the cave was beyond any other cave tour we've ever seen. Unbelievable! The capital city of Ljublana was also an unexpected jewel.
In Croatia, we really enjoyed our stay at Lake Plitvice. To hike around the waterfalls is amazing.
In the Split area, we had a private wine tasting at a vineyard. Great view and casual discussion with the owner over wine, of course. We also enjoyed our day trip to Hvar. Quieter pace than Split, but oh so pretty.
In the Dubrovnik area, we enjoyed a trip to the little island of Lokrum. It's a short 15 minute ferry ride and fun to hike/walk around. We also took a taxi ride to the top of the hill for a spectacular view of the town. And of course the Old town itself is fun to wander around.
We enjoyed our day trip to Montenegro as well. Long day, but fun to see another country.

If you could take your trip again, what would you do differently?

We had another trip immediately preceding this one. Had we not, I think it would have been nice to add about 3 more days to this trip, but we are still happy that we crammed so much into our 8 day itinerary.
We had a 2 hour walking tour in Zagreb, which we enjoyed, but we probably could have done without it. (We had asked for it.)
It would have been nice to spend another night in Ljublana. There is just a cool, relaxed vibe in the city center.
It would have been nice to spend 2 nights in Lake Plitvice area instead of 1.
In Split, there is nothing that I would change. (If I had more time, it would be fun to explore or stay on Hvar or the other islands for a night or two.)
In Dubrovnik, I would add another night. We saw what we wanted to see, but depending on the time of year, a day on the water would have been a nice addition. (The water was not quite warm enough for us though at our time of visit.)
