Croatia Vacation Review: Dubrovnik, Split, Krka National Park, Game of Thrones Sites, Local Food & Wine

My travel planner and her staff were fantastic in providing all the details required prior to the trip and also helped us during when, due to illness, we were forced to reschedule one element and cancel another but she didn't bat an eyelid and within a couple of hours, drivers and guides were re-organized.

The trip was wonderful and at just about the right pace and we squeezed a huge amount into 9 days, including 2 ferries, 3 different types of accommodation, a cable car, winery, waterfalls, fortresses, roman ruins, cathedrals, film locations, food, stunning scenery, hospitable locals and stunning beaches.

All our guides and drivers were knowledgeable and passionate about their country and their passion was infectious for us too.  The whole trip went as planned, apart from a small hiccup with the bus taking us to Krka Waterfalls but this in no way spoiled the day for us.

Croatia is a fabulous country, rich in architecture, history and culture and will soon become over-run with tourists which will spoil it immensely.
