Cuba Vacation Review: Havana, One-Week Tour

We were immensely impressed with the services initially provided by Zicasso, extending to those of our tour operator in working with us to create an itinerary, followed by the local team in Cuba in executing the plan. Throughout our trip and its preparations, all parties were responsive and professional, giving us the impression they were truly interested in our welfare. As a consequence, we would unreservedly recommend Zicasso, specifically for trips to Cuba.

As for our travel agent, we appreciated her prompt responses to our inquiries and her attention to detail. We felt that within the allotted time period of our stay, she created an itinerary that gave us at least a taste of Cuba and exposure to its people, history, and sights. She listened attentively to our requests and designed an itinerary highly responsive to the points we raised. For us, it was a stimulating and very memorable trip.

Most of all, we appreciated her arranging such a splendid professional team to guide us through our trip.

We really cannot say enough good things about our guide. From our initial meeting to our final farewell, she was a pleasurable travel companion and immensely engaging, personable, and informative. She was unstinting in her efforts to provide us with a good Cuban experience, open to our requests, wonderfully communicative, responsive to our questions, quite professional, and dedicated to our welfare. We enjoyed her companionship immensely and benefitted from all the information about Cuba that she conveyed.

In a similar vein, we appreciated greatly the contributions of our driver. Although there was unquestionably a language barrier, we enjoyed his presence. He was highly courteous and forthcoming in his interactions with us, as well as quite a skilled driver. Best of all, he carried my wife’s suitcase, as needed, thereby sparing me a third hernia.
