Czech Republic Travel Review: Prague, Walking Tour, 10-Day Vacation

I first want to say thank you to the company as this trip was planned pre Covid and we had to delay it from 2020 to 2023. Also, I changed the trip after the initial planning session from Prague and Germany to Madrid and Prague. The company did well at planning my time in Prague. We liked the hotel that was chosen and its location. The private transportation worked well. The walking tour was good but the tour guide cut us short 30 min stating multiple times that she was tired after a long tour the day before. 

As mentioned, we changed our location from Germany to Madrid about a year before the trip. I asked the company if they could plan Madrid for us which they said they could. The hotels they presented us had terrible reviews and I can not believe they couldn’t find ones that were better. I had to find the hotel I wanted for them and they booked it. The 2 tours they booked for us were just ok. 

My biggest issue is communication. I am not sure if it was a language issue but we probably had 50 emails back and forth and I finally gave up and planned my own excursions in both cities. In addition, she booked a tour for me even after I told her I didn’t want to book it. It was able to be refunded. I just was not pleased with the attention to detail and the communication. There was nothing done “above and beyond.” I wasn’t sure who the point person was and I honestly felt like they got bored planning the trip and lost interest.
