Your overall comments on the trip and the travel company:

Zicasso’s travel company developed and executed a wonderful travel experience. Pre-trip planning was key and involved numerous emails and phone calls.

Given the situation in Gaza, the calm, reassuring guidance was greatly appreciated.

Their teams in Egypt and Jordan were great. Each member was very professional, yet extremely personable. The airport assistance, drivers, and especially the guides were first-class. Such good, good people.

The accommodation and restaurants were top of the line. How can you go wrong with our hotel in Aswan?

We highly recommend our tour operator. It was a great trip.

What were the most enjoyable or memorable parts of your trip?

Every day was a feast of new experiences, with visits to all those things you imagine when you think of these countries.

Karnak Temple and the tombs in the Valley of the Kings were highlights in Egypt. The artwork in Ramesses V and VI, Nerfertari's tomb in the Valley of the Queens, and the workers' village of Deir el-Medina were outstanding.

Petra and Wadi Rum in Jordan were magnificent.

We had a superb cultural experience, with lunch in Edfu and coffee in Aswan.

I am not sure you will find these sites listed on the internet. They are an example of some of the unique experiences included in our itinerary.

We had an exquisite dinner recommendation in Amman.

If you could take your trip again, what would you do differently?

We would book extra days to visit more of the incredible sites that are part of Egyptian and Jordanian heritage.

I would have scheduled at least one additional day of downtime to recharge the batteries. This, of course, is dependent on how much time you have for your trip. The Red Sea might be nice.

Abu Simbel is a must and truly rewarding. I would recommend the visit. However, it is a very rushed day trip. Too bad that it is difficult to stay overnight in the village.
