Your overall comments on the trip and the travel company:

This was a dream trip! The travel agency made this so easy. We said what we wanted and what we were looking for in an European trip and an amazing itinerary was planned. We made a few tweaks and adjustments before and even during the trip to have the experience we wanted. It was great to have our guides pick us up at our hotels or meet us at the different locations. The guides were personable and possessed a vast knowledge of the area and history. It was nice to not worry about getting tickets, waiting in the long or wrong line. They were very professional. The travel agency even checked in daily to remind us of our itinerary and the plans for the next day. Mario and his staff were wonderful to work with! Great hotels with great locations!

What were the most enjoyable or memorable parts of your trip?

One of our favorite days was the boat tour of Capri and the surrounding grottos. It was a fun and relaxing day. Our captain was very capable and we felt very safe with him.
We also liked the bike tour in Paris. We had planned for everyone to ride but not everyone felt comfortable to do so. There was no pressure. Those that did ride had a great time!
Our guide in Pompeii was wonderful! He also helps to excavate the site and had a wealth of knowledge about the city. Seriously amazing!

If you could take your trip again, what would you do differently?

I think if we were to make some changes, we would plan less tours and a few more free days.

We would also have loved the guides to eat with us more. It would have been helpful and also they are fun and interesting to talk to.

It would also be helpful for all the guides to have microphones and the over the ear headphones. It was great to be able to hear as we were walking down the street and not trying to listen over traffic and other noises. It was also helpful for those in our group with hearing aids, as they were part of the conversations and details. The earbud didn’t work as well because they had to remove their hearing aids and therefore couldn’t hear.
