Greece Family Trip Review: Athens, Cooking Class, Private Tours, Biking, Local Cuisine, 8-Day Vacation

Dear George,

It's been three weeks since we returned from Greece, and I am still not over how perfectly our trip went. I never even imagined myself leaving The United States, and it did not take me long to figure out I was in way over my head.

I found your company by accident while googling travel agents. Zicasso set me up with three agents to compare. It was apparent from the start that your service was at a higher level and that you were working harder to ensure that our trip was perfect. Even before you knew I would be your client, you took the time to make our quote much more personalized than any other company. It was obvious that you were listening to me, and you included a lot more details. This travel agency was a perfect match for my family.

As you know, I am a very inexperienced traveler, and my budget was critical. While planning the trip, I was apprehensive that you would be sick of me, my questions, and my concerns. This was a once-in-a-lifetime trip for my family, and I wanted it to be perfect. You never once made me feel like I was bothering you. Before we left for Greece, I was jokingly calling you “my friend George”.

I don't know how to express how much I appreciate everything you did for us during the planning and the actual trip. Starting with the itinerary, you took my "no idea what I want to do in Greece" and turned it into a personalized vacation that covered every detail and made the day-to-day trials and tribulations of traveling a pleasure. From the flights, the private drivers, the private tours, and the beautiful hotels' everything was planned perfectly, and we enjoyed it so much.

I must mention how blown away we were by the cooking lesson you arranged for us. It started when we walked through the door, and you introduced yourself to us. I was shocked that you took the time to meet us and translate for the chef; I knew you were my friend. I could not believe that you had arranged for the chef to open his restaurant just for us. Being invited into his kitchen to learn his techniques was so cool. Eating freshly made appetizers, sipping wine, and watching a professional chef cook a meal just for us was an unbelievable experience.

During the e-bike tour of Athens that you arranged, our tour guide kept using the funniest catchphrase. I told him that I would steal it and use it from now on in my personal life. It perfectly describes everything we experienced, from planning our trip to living it.

“Super Duper Wow!”

We had the best trip imaginable. Too many memorable moments to mention. I will cherish the memories for the rest of my life. I want to shout off the rooftops how wonderful your company is, how wonderful you are, and what a great time we had.
