Greece Luxury Travel Review: Athens, Naxos, Santorini, Mykonos, Acropolis, Bike Tour, Hiking, Wine Tasting, Sunset Sail

We were paired with this travel company and EVERY detail was planned to the smallest detail. We were met at the airport in Athens by a porter who guided us through a shortened customs line and took our bags to where Irene met us with folders with our trip details and a Greek cell phone so that we could communicate with her for any possible question or snag. Irene was incredible! She was so quick to help in every possible way. She also gifted us with olive oil and jam from her family orchard. WOW!  
Every hotel was lovely. We have a view of the parthenon in Athens and were greeted with a bottle of wine and fresh fruit on our arrival. Our drivers were so friendly and helpful! We had two drivers during our trip who were so friendly. Our two nights in Athens were probably the biggest highlights (for me, the foodie) of the trip! Irene made reservations for us at a mountain top restaurant that overlooked the city of Athens and the Parthenon and the sea. We had a delicious meal while watching the sunset behind the city and then the lights coming up over the Parthenon. The next day, we had a lovely bike tour with a bubbly guide, a walking tour of the Acropolis and the museum with a guide who knew ALL the history and that night a walking tour of Athens. Our guide was charming and chose the most AMAZING places. My favorite evening!!! All our tickets for ferries, etc were always waiting for us at hotel desks, and our drivers were always waiting for us in beautiful, clean black vans. Our driving tour of Mykonos was interesting and very relaxing. The driver was kind enough to eat lunch with us and walk around the city with us as well. We had prime seating on the ferries between islands, and a private pool at the hotel on Mykonos. Naxos was our favorite island as it was quieter. Our hotel had beautiful outdoor dining and a spa where we had delightful massages. Our hiking guide was so informative and I learned so much!!! We even got to chat with a beekeeper on our walk and buy some honey products! Our driving tour was phenomenal with a sweet guide. Our visit to the marble city was memorable when we stopped at a local store owned by a city leader who chose to teach my husband their local dance!!! We found hand-loomed linens, hand carved knives, and finished the day at Promponas Distillery with the best hostess!!!
We finished on Santorini where our fabulous driver took us to two vineyards where we had wine tastings, pairings and dinner. We also enjoyed a four-wheeler tour and a relaxing sunset sail on a catamaran.
We would 100% recommend Zicasso and this travel company!!!
