Greece Luxury Vacation Review: Acropolis, Parthenon, History, Beaches, Local Cuisine, 4-Day Trip

One small detail that actually helped improve our experience were the professional and super friendly drivers for all of our transfers on the ground. They all showed up on time or ahead of schedule with very comfortable and luxurious rides that were clean, cool, and ready with chilled water (especially nice given when we were there it was averaging 100+ degrees every day). Each driver took the time to assist my mom in and out of the car and ran friendly conversations with us. Like I said, a super small detail that others might have overlooked, but it stood out to me for some reason.
Having time built in to properly enjoy everything our resort had to offer was also nice. This included access to a private beach and crystal clear waters (their chilly temperature MUCH needed to offset the brutal heat) and several very nice on site high-end restaurants that offered DELICIOUS fare in quantities you'd expect from a Greek momma, i.e., we walked away from every meal STUFFED and fully satisfied.
Being a lover of history and a teacher, it was also nice to finally visit the acclaimed Acropolis and Parthenon of Greece. We got there probably as early as we could have and beat much of the crush of people that usually show up, so we were able to enjoy a relatively leisurely stroll up and around the hill without shoulder to shoulder crowds around us.
